Costa de Oro is a family-owned winery, producing estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Gold Coast Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley. We strive to produce wines with elegance and character by diligent farming in the vineyard and traditional European winemaking techniques. Our newly opened tasting room located at Stowell Road and the 101 freeway offers the estate wines, as well as, small amounts of other varietals made exclusively for the tasting bar. Winemaker Gary Burk trained at the Au Bon Climat/Qupé facility where he worked for 8 years in production and marketing. Visit our Tasting Room and Marketplace to experience these wines, as well as our estate-grown strawberries and sweet corn, gourmet food items, and unique gifts. The Gold Coast Marketplace and Tasting Room is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday-Monday starting September 21st, 2009 for the winter.
